Ariel is a bilingual English-Spanish-speaking speech-language pathologist who specializes in treating children with communication and oral-motor-based deficits from culturally diverse backgrounds. She received a B.S. in Allied Health Sciences and a Minor in Spanish from Grand Valley State University and a M.A. in Communication Disorders and Sciences from The University of Oregon. Ariel moved to Alaska in 2020 for what was supposed to be a short-term adventure and fell in love with the beautiful state and all it has to offer. When she isn’t busy being an SLP, she loves spending her time with her family, hiking, camping, and traveling.
